Senators for the College of Humanities and Social Science (6 seats)

Hello students of the College for the Humanities and Social Sciences,

Welcome back to another year at KSU or alternatively, if you are new, welcome to KSU. As students of the Humanities and Social Sciences, you are a part of the largest, most diverse, and fastest growing colleges here at KSU. As a result of the size of our college, the Student Government Association of KSU has allocated a number of seats on the voting board in order to accurately reflect the diversity that we encompass. Thus, the College for the Humanities and Social Sciences has six seats available with three of them currently filled. The Senators that currently hold these seats are: myself, Senator Shavon Austin, Senator Wendy Hutson, and Senator Terrence McTier.

As Senators, our role is to communicate with the administrators and ultimately influence decisions that are made on campus, especially in matter concerning our college. Thus, we try to act in a manner that represents the interest of you, our constituents. In this upcoming academic year, we are looking forward to having a greater presence on campus so that we are better able to communicate with you. Our plan of action for the upcoming year involves working with the administrators in our college and addressing issues that students may have that we are unaware of. We look forward to working with you this upcoming year in order for you to enjoy your time here at Kennesaw. We wish you the best of luck in the upcoming year.
